Wataru: Now then, ladies and gentlemen! The party is in full swing!

This is the public execution of us Five Oddballs, who trampled over dreams and hopes, and threw the innocent populace into a crucible of tragedy!

I am very sure everybody here already knows who I may be, but allow me to ignore the atmosphere and introduce myself regardless!

I am Hibiki Wataru — your Hibiki Wataru! Please exchange toasts with my blood and pray for everlasting prosperity!

Let us begin this showtime! No, let us put an end to all tragicomedies! Applause! Ovation!

Let every possible variation of human nature resound out loudly!

Eichi: I would appreciate it if you didn't start everything on your own. Your voice is very loud — very energetic.

Wataru: Fufufu! Main characters, he has finally made his appearance!

If I do not speak as loud as I can, the audience in the back will not be able to hear me~ Everybody is booing me awfully loudly, after all.

To think that everybody detests us Five Oddballs to this extent! Impressive!

I haven't even spoken to the majority of these people, and yet they act like I have killed one of their beloved.

Eichi: This might have been my doing, but just having a glimpse of the hero I admire being pelted with such abusive language makes my chest hurt.

Wataru: Your chest? Oh dear! You have a weak heart, do you not? Are you alright? Shall I give you a massage?

Please at least keep your heart beating until the curtain call is over.

This is the best grand stage that I could ask for, and acting perfectly until the very end is my pride!

I shall accompany you, the lovable people of fine!

... oh? I see that you are lacking members.

Eichi: The performance hasn't begun yet, after all. My members are quite professional, so until their turn arrives, they stay in the back without even a hint of fanservice.

Our relationship is also on the brink of collapse, so we don't act friendly with each other either.

But even so, I will at least have them perform on this final grand stage by any means.

That is the contract we have signed, and one we've performed perfectly. They are weapons — once the war is over, they will have served their purpose.

I have made every preparation necessary so I could fully use them here.

I don't know what will become of them after the war, and I'm not interested. Right now, all they need to do is unleash their destructive power and burn up according to what I desire.

Wataru: I have been thinking about this for quite a while, but you really don't have any friends, yes?

Eichi: Are they necessary? I mean, I don't want you telling me that.

Wataru: I have friends, although I will not say that it is my victory because of that.

By naming us the Five Oddballs, you allowed us to stumble upon each other... I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart.

Thank you.

Eichi: I'm not sure what I should do if I am being "appreciated" for that...?

Tsumugi: Eichi-kun.

Excuse me, I know the live show is going to start soon... But I have something I want to verify.

Eichi: What is it, Tsumugi? If it's pointless business, I'd like you to leave it for after the performance.

I'm spending an absolutely blissful time right now — a time I've even dreamed about.

Tsumugi: Er, um, I'm sorry... But this is something that will bother me if I don't get a confirmation right now.

I really am bad thing these kinds of things~ I wonder if I'm just being high strung.

Um, Eichi-kun... it's the same for both Nagisa-kun and Hiyori-kun as well, but apparently we're being dismissed after this live show?

I mean, it's noted in our contract here.

Is this some kind of "mistake"?

Eichi: ? I don't understand your question here. There is no way I would make such a mistake on my precious contracts.

Including you, all members of fine excluding me will be finishing their jobs after this performance.

After a war, the armed forces disassemble because they lose their reason for existence, after all. Well, I'll call you all back up again if it's ever necessary, but if that time comes, we'll exchange contracts again.

But I'm sure you must be fed up with all of this, right?

Accompanying such a selfish person like myself, being treated like a lackey... I won't let you say you had no complaints about it.

I had you take part in actions that involved hurting, ruining, and trampling on other people. Being as kind as you are, I'm sure you would've hated it.

But being unable to oppose me, you concealed your displeasure and bowed your head.

It's alright now. You don't have to force yourself any longer... Don't worry — thanks to you, I made it through the entire journey I planned out safely.

This is a happy ending. This bitter, painful play will end here.

Perfect timing, right? I appreciate all the work you've done. Thank you. You were more useful than I thought.

Tsumugi: Eichi-kun. I didn't stay by your side because we exchanged contracts.

That was just a scrap of paper. Until this very moment, I had thought it was a joke and didn't even give it a single glance.

Eichi: Really? That's not like you at all. You enjoy and read those kinds of things often, right? Paperwork, documents, books...

I gave that contract to you quite a while back — you still haven't checked it?

Er, Tsumugi... in that case, why on earth have you been associating with me all this time?

Tsumugi: You don't understand, Eichi-kun...?

Eichi: You were helping me out to repay the large amount of loan money your mother has accumulated, right?

Your mother went into personal bankruptcy once, and because she couldn't quit her wasteful habits, she went into debt due to loan sharks.

But it will be alright, don't worry! Something like that is just loose change to me — the expenses are barely anything.

This live show will fully repay all the debts you have, and to prevent relapse, I can have your mother get counselling as well!

And depending on the situation, I can go through legal processes to strip her of her custody rights so you can cut off all ties with your good-for-nothing mother.

Oh, or did you want to take revenge on her? Shall I lend you a defense counsel?

Tsumugi: .....

Eichi: You were expecting something like that as a reward — as compensation... isn't that why you were being my friend?
